Celebrate on a 6-day premium Kenya honeymoon safari through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli with private drives, romantic stays and personal service.
Created for honeymooners, anniversary couples and partners celebrating together, this six-day premium Kenya safari offers privacy without separating romance from meaningful wildlife time. Three nights in the Maasai Mara allow an arrival drive and two flexible full days, so the couple can enjoy both extended exploration and quiet lodge time. Lake Nakuru introduces forested Rift Valley scenery and rhino habitat before the journey continues south to Amboseli for wetlands, elephants and possible Kilimanjaro views. A private 4×4 gives the couple control over comfort stops and the rhythm of each drive, while premium camps provide welcoming suites and attentive meals. Room decoration, private dinners, sundowners, spa appointments and surprise celebrations must be requested in advance and confirmed by the chosen property; they are not automatic package features. Wildlife, migration crossings, sunset colour and mountain visibility depend on natural conditions, but thoughtful pacing and personal service shape the journey throughout.
A Personal Welcome
Meet your private driver-guide at JKIA, Wilson Airport or a Nairobi hotel around 6:30 a.m. The 250–280 km journey through the Rift Valley and Narok takes about 5–6½ hours before long stops. Pause for refreshments and safe views, then arrive at the selected Mara camp between 12:30 and 2:00 p.m. Staff will assist with check-in while the couple enjoys lunch and time to settle into the room or tent.
Sunset for Two
Leave at approximately 3:30 p.m. for a relaxed game drive through open plains and acacia country. The private vehicle allows the couple to spend longer at a peaceful scene or move on when ready. Wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, antelopes and predators may be encountered, but sightings are never promised. Return around sunset for dinner. Any room decoration, private table or welcome arrangement will follow the written lodge confirmation.
Morning on the Plains
Start with tea or coffee around 5:45 a.m. and enter the reserve near 6:15 a.m., when temperatures are cooler and wildlife may be active. Choose a full-day picnic format or a morning drive followed by breakfast at camp. Your guide interprets tracks, behaviour and habitat while giving the couple quiet space to enjoy each encounter. Natural movement determines the route, so no fixed species list or river crossing is guaranteed.
Picnic and Evening Glow
With the full-day option, pause for lunch at an authorised picnic point around 12:30 p.m. and continue through a different ecosystem in the afternoon. Couples preferring lodge time may rest after lunch and depart again around 3:30 p.m. Both options offer roughly seven to nine hours of total safari activity. Return by 6:00 p.m. for a shower, dinner and a second premium Mara overnight.
Choose Your Rhythm
This second complete Mara day can begin near 6:15 a.m. with another cool-hour game drive. Revisit an area that showed promise or explore new grassland, marsh and riverine habitats. Return for a late breakfast and relaxed time at the property, or carry a picnic and remain in the field. The plan can favour patient wildlife watching, photography or a slower pace for couples who value the lodge experience equally.
A Thoughtful Final Mara Evening
If a romantic sundowner, private dinner, spa treatment or community-hosted visit has been pre-booked, the guide coordinates the day around its confirmed time, weather and location. Otherwise, take an afternoon game drive from about 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. and enjoy the changing light together. Dinner completes the third Mara night. Extra experiences remain subject to lodge rules and are never assumed from the package title.
One Last Mara Morning
When the gate and lodge location make it practical, depart near 6:15 a.m. for a final two-hour wildlife drive. Return for breakfast, finish packing and check out around 9:00 a.m. A property located far from the gate may use the exit drive itself as the final viewing session. The guide will explain the plan the previous evening so the departure remains calm rather than rushed.
From Open Plains to Forested Shores
Travel 235–270 km to Lake Nakuru, usually 5–6½ hours depending on the departure gate and road conditions. Enjoy lunch and comfort stops en route, then reach the Nakuru area in the afternoon. Guests staying inside the park may take a short drive if entry timing and daylight permit; guests outside the park check in and rest. Dinner is served at the premium lodge, with tomorrow’s early departure discussed before sleep.
Rhino Habitat and Lakeside Country
After breakfast around 6:00 a.m., start the Lake Nakuru drive near 6:30 a.m. Explore fever-tree woodland, open grass, rocky slopes and reachable shoreline habitat for two and a half to three hours. The park is known for black and white rhino conservation, but visibility still depends on natural movement. Flamingo numbers also change with lake conditions. Complete check-out and leave around 9:30–10:00 a.m.
The Long Southern Transfer
Continue 390–430 km through Nairobi and Emali to the Amboseli area, allowing 7½–9 hours with lunch, comfort stops and traffic. This is the longest drive, so carry medication and personal essentials in a small day bag. Reach the lodge in the early evening for check-in and dinner. A romantic welcome will be prepared only when the arrangement appears in the confirmed booking.
A Final Morning Together
Wake for tea or coffee around 5:45 a.m., check out and begin a game drive near 6:15 a.m. Explore wetlands, short-grass plains and acacia woodland for approximately three hours. Elephants and other wildlife may be present, while Kilimanjaro provides a backdrop only when cloud and haze allow. Your guide maintains safe, respectful viewing distance and gives the couple time to enjoy the final encounters without unnecessary commentary.
Homeward with New Memories
Have breakfast at the lodge or carry it as a picnic, then depart around 10:00–10:30 a.m. The 220–240 km drive to Nairobi usually takes four to five hours before heavy traffic, with lunch arranged en route. Reach JKIA, Wilson Airport or an agreed hotel at approximately 3:30–5:30 p.m. Couples flying internationally should retain a generous check-in buffer or book a Nairobi night.

The Booking Form
Celebrate on a 6-day premium Kenya honeymoon safari through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli with private drives, romantic stays and personal service.
N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. What makes this package suitable for a honeymoon?
The safari uses a private vehicle, three consecutive Mara nights and premium accommodation, creating more privacy and less packing than a compressed circuit. Couples can choose full-day or split drives and request celebratory touches. The itinerary itself does not automatically include room decoration, private dining or spa services; those details must be selected, priced and confirmed with the actual properties.
2. Can we request a private bush dinner or sundowner?
Yes, where the lodge is licensed and equipped to provide it. Availability depends on weather, location, staffing, safety and the property’s rules. Some experiences require advance payment and may be replaced by an indoor arrangement if conditions change. Ask for the exact menu, setting, privacy level and cancellation terms before treating the experience as part of the honeymoon plan.
3. Are the lodges genuinely premium?
The final quotation should name every property, room category and meal plan. “Premium” generally indicates well-appointed accommodation, private bathrooms, reliable service and good dining, but standards and inclusions differ. Compare the actual room photographs, location and guest policies rather than relying only on the word luxury. Honeymoon suites are subject to availability and may carry a supplement
4. Can we have more lodge time and fewer game-drive hours
Yes. Because the safari is private, the two full Mara days can use split drives rather than remaining in the vehicle all day. However, reserve entry rules, gate location and pre-booked activities affect what can be changed. Day 5 is less flexible because the Lake Nakuru drive is followed by a long transfer to Amboseli. Discuss your ideal rhythm before arrival.
5. Is hot-air ballooning included?
No. A Maasai Mara balloon flight is an optional, weather-dependent activity that requires advance reservation and additional payment. It normally starts before sunrise and changes the morning game-drive plan. Weight, age, mobility and pregnancy restrictions may apply. Confirm the operating area, transfer arrangements, cancellation policy and whether breakfast is included before booking it.
6. Can the operator organise a proposal or anniversary surprise?
Yes, but share the idea privately and early. The operator must coordinate with the lodge, confirm what is realistically available and protect the surprise without promising uncontrolled elements such as a perfect sunset or wildlife appearance. Flowers, cake, musicians, photography or a private venue may cost extra. Written confirmation prevents misunderstandings about the exact arrangement.
7. Is the journey too long for couples who want a relaxing holiday?
Most days balance wildlife and comfort, but Day 5 involves 390–430 km and 7½–9 hours of travel. Couples seeking a very slow honeymoon should add one or two nights or use a scheduled flight for part of the route. The six-day road version is best for travellers who value three distinct parks and do not mind one substantial transfer.
8. What should we pack for elegant lodges and game drives?
Bring neutral, comfortable safari clothing, a warm layer for early drives, sun protection, closed shoes and one smart-casual outfit if desired for dinner. Formal wear is unnecessary. Soft luggage is easier to handle than large hard suitcases. Keep medicine, documents and one change of clothes in a day bag, especially when continuing directly from an international flight.
9. Are wildlife encounters or Kilimanjaro views guaranteed?
No. Free-ranging animals move independently, migration timing varies and predators can remain hidden. Kilimanjaro may be obscured by cloud or haze even on a clear-looking morning. The guide uses experience and current conditions to improve viewing opportunities, but the premium promise concerns guiding, privacy, accommodation and organisation—not control over nature.
10. Can we leave directly for an evening flight on Day 6?
It depends on the scheduled departure and actual traffic. Nairobi arrival is usually around 3:30–5:30 p.m., but delays can occur. A late-night international flight may be possible with a suitable buffer, while an early evening departure is risky. Send the flight details before confirmation so the operator can advise whether a Nairobi overnight is safer.
