Welcome on Kilimanjaro trekking adventure via the scenic 6 days Rongai route Conquer the summit and savour breathtaking views Book now
The Rongai route is one of the easier routes up Kilimanjaro. Rongai is the only route to approach Kilimanjaro from the north and the descent is via the Marangu Route. Summit night from Kibo Hut is steep and follows the same path taken by the Marangu route which passes Gilman’s Point to Uhuru Peak. While it is flatter, it does not give the trek high sleep low option and therefore recommended to select more days for acclimatization. Six days is your best choice to trek Mountain Kilimanjaro.
After a hearty breakfast, you set out on your journey to the Rongai gate. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, passing by small villages and farmlands. Upon reaching the gate, you collect your permit and begin your ascent into the heart of Kilimanjaro. As you trek through the lush tropical forests and out into the heather moorland, you are surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colours, from the vibrant green of the foliage to the deep blues of the sky. You can hear the soothing sound of water flowing in nearby streams and the chirping of birds in the trees. The air is cool and fresh, invigorating you as you take each step towards your ultimate goal.
