Will begin with an early breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to the Rongai Gate. The journey to the gate takes approximately 2.5 hours, during which you will pass through the beautiful scenery of coffee plantations and pine forests. Upon arrival at the gate, you will be met by your guide and porters, who will help you carry your gear to the Rongai trailhead. The Rongai trail is a relatively gentle ascent, starting in the fields of corn and passing through pine forests. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to take in the beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape. After about half a day of trekking, you will reach the Simba Camp at an altitude of 2600 meters. This camp is located in a rocky area, with caves providing shelter for the porters and cooks.

Today's trek will take you to the beautiful Kibo Hut, located in the heart of the Saddle, a picturesque region that separates the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. As you ascend, you will be surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding mountains and alpine desert landscape. Unfortunately, there is no water available at Kibo Hut, so be sure to bring enough with you for the day. However, you can purchase mineral water and soft drinks at the camp office. To prepare for your summit attempt, your guide will provide you with detailed information on how to properly acclimate and prepare for the trek. After a filling dinner, you will have the opportunity to rest and recover before the final ascent to the summit. Get a good night's sleep, as tomorrow will be a big day!

Today, you will embark on the most exciting and challenging part of your Kilimanjaro journey the summit attempt. As you begin your ascent, you will follow the rocky trail up to Hans Meyer Cave, which sits at an elevation of 5150 meters. From there, you will continue your ascent to the breath-taking Gillman's Point, located at an altitude of 5681 meters. After taking in the incredible views from Gillman's Point, you will begin the final ascent to the summit at Uhuru Peak. Reaching the summit is an incredible achievement, and you will be able to spend a short amount of time taking in the stunning views and celebrating your success with your guide and fellow trekkers. From Uhuru Peak, you will begin the descent down to Barafu Hut, which sits at an elevation of 4600 meters, you will enjoy a hot lunch in the sun and have some time to rest and recuperate, descend to Horombo Hut, at an elevation of 3720 meters for overnight.
