As we arrive at Nalemuru Gate, a scenic entry point to Kilimanjaro National Park, our guide and mountain crew will greet us with a warm welcome. After a quick briefing, we'll set off on our journey towards Simba Camp, located at an altitude of 2,625 meters. Our trek will take us through a lush forest of coniferous trees, as we ascend the northern slope of Kilimanjaro. Along the way, we'll encounter the unique flora and fauna of the region, including the elusive colobus monkey. As we make our way up, it's important to remember to take things slow and listen to your body. Our guides will be on hand to offer advice and support, and we'll make frequent stops to allow you to rest and hydrate. After an early breakfast at Simba Camp, we'll begin our second day of trekking. Our route will take us through the lush forests and moorlands of Kilimanjaro, with breath taking views of the surrounding landscape. We'll trek steadily, with stops along the way to rest and admire the scenery. As we approach second cave we'll be greeted by the stunning sight of Kibo Volcano towering above us. This high-altitude camp offers a great vantage point for watching the sunset and stars come out. After a day of trekking, we'll set up camp and enjoy a hearty meal before settling in for the night. It's important to get plenty of rest and stay hydrated, as we'll need to be well-rested and energized for the challenges ahead.

Today's trek takes us to the foot of Mawenzi Volcano, the third and lesser-known peak of Kilimanjaro. We'll start early, before the sun is too high in the sky, to make the most of our energy. The trail will take us through the unique landscape of the moorlands, with its rocky terrain and alpine vegetation. We'll have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including the elusive giant groundsel plant, which only grows on Kilimanjaro. After reaching third cave Camp, we'll take a break to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. We'll also have the opportunity to acclimate to the high altitude by taking a short acclimatization trek up to the nearby summit of Mawenzi. In the evening, we'll enjoy a hearty meal and spend some time reflecting on our journey so far. It's important to get plenty of rest and stay hydrated, as we'll need to be well-rested and energized for the challenges ahead.

This day will be spent trekking towards kibo Hut (4,715 m). The landscape will change significantly, giving way to a rocky semi-desert terrain. The actual trekking is not very difficult; just remember to stick to an appropriate pace to keep up your strength for the trek to Kilimanjaro's summit. When you reach the camp, we recommend you sleep well, avoid strenuous activity, and drink as much as you can, because that very night you will be ascending Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). As you embark on this trek, you'll be surrounded by a unique landscape of rocky outcroppings and alpine vegetation. The trail will be rocky and challenging, but the stunning views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers will make it all worth it. At Kibo Hut, you'll have the opportunity to rest and recover before your final ascent to the summit. We recommend that you sleep well, avoid strenuous activity, and drink plenty of fluids to keep your energy levels up.

The day of your final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) has arrived! You'll depart from School Hut Camp (4,715 m) early in the morning and start your trek to the summit. The trekking will be moderate from a physical standpoint, but the altitude will present a much greater challenge. For the entire length of the trek, each pair of trekkers will be accompanied by their own guide, who will monitor your stamina and mental resolve. After reaching the summit, once you've had your fill of the summit, you'll begin your descent to Horombo Camp (3,720 m). The trail will be rocky and challenging, but the descent is typically faster than the ascent. We recommend that you take frequent breaks and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. Upon reaching Horombo Camp, you'll have a two-hour rest before continuing your descent to Marangu Gate. This will be the end of your Kilimanjaro journey, and you'll be able to celebrate your success with a well-deserved meal and a good night's sleep.

Today, you'll be starting your journey back down the mountain, but first, you'll have a warm breakfast to fuel up for the final descent. As you make your way to Marangu Gate, you'll have plenty of time to reflect on your incredible journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. After checking out of the lodge, you'll begin your descent through the rainforest, taking in the beautiful scenery and savouring the memories you've made over the past six days. The trail will be mostly downhill, making it a relatively easy trek compared to the previous days. As you approach Marangu Gate, you'll have a chance to rest and take in the sights before gathering with your group for a final celebration. Your guide will present you with commemorative certificates to recognize your achievement, and you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts on the trip in the guestbook.
