    Under the cloak of night, we set forth (around midnight to 2 am) for the summit, between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. Northwesterly ascent through challenging scree to Stella Point, where a breathtaking sunrise graces us. Faster hikers might catch it from the summit. From Stella Point, a snowy path leads to Uhuru Peak, Africa's zenith! The descent begins, with a stop at Barafu for lunch. Gaiters and hiking poles help navigate the gravel descent. Our day ends at Mweka Camp, marking our last mountain night.
