RELATED FAQS ABOUT 7 Days Kenya Luxury Rare Wildlife, Rhinos and Big Cats Safari

    1. Can guests see the Big Five?

Several Big Five species may be encountered, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos. However, seeing all five cannot be guaranteed. Leopards are particularly secretive and may remain hidden even during an otherwise productive safari.

    3. Are rhinos guaranteed at Ol Pejeta?

Ol Pejeta offers strong opportunities, but every sighting remains natural. Your guide will search suitable areas while following conservancy rules. Vegetation, weather and animal movement may influence visibility.

    2. Are Samburu’s special species guaranteed?

No. Reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks, Beisa oryx and Somali ostriches move naturally. The full-day Samburu activity gives the guide time to search several habitats, but no individual species can be promised.

    Is the chimpanzee-related visit included?

It is included only when clearly listed in the confirmed package. Access conditions, operating hours and conservancy arrangements may change. Guests should review the final itinerary carefully.

    5. Are hippos guaranteed at Lake Naivasha?

Hippos are commonly observed, but sightings cannot be guaranteed. Boat operators must maintain a safe distance, and guests should follow all safety instructions.

    6. Are predators guaranteed in Maasai Mara?

No. The Maasai Mara provides strong predator opportunities, but wildlife movement remains unpredictable. The full-day drive gives the guide time to explore different habitats and respond to current information.

    7. Is the safari private?

Yes. The standard package includes a private customised safari vehicle and a professional driver-guide. This provides more flexibility during road transfers and wildlife encounters.

    8. Are park and conservancy fees included?

The final quotation will clearly state which park, reserve, conservancy and activity fees are included. Fees may vary by age, travel date and residency status. Guests should rely on the confirmed written quotation.

    9. Is the itinerary suitable for first-time safari travellers?

Yes. The route combines unusual northern wildlife, rhino conservation, freshwater scenery and classic Maasai Mara predators. Guests should be prepared for several road transfers and changing weather conditions.
