Day 2: simba camp trek to second cave
As you ascend, you will be surrounded by lush forests and may catch glimpses of the summit in the distance. During the second day, you will hike through Kilimanjaro's moorland, where the landscape is rocky and barren. You will be able to view Mawenzi Peak ahead, which is a breathtaking sight.

Day 3: kikelewa cave trek to mawenzi tarn
On the third day, you will have an acclimatization day, which means you will hike in the morning and rest in the afternoon. The hike is relatively short but steep, taking you to the Mawenzi Tarn campsite. This campsite is situated below Mawenzi Peak and offers stunning views of both Mawenzi and Kibo, the highest peak of Kilimanjaro
