7 Days Kilimanjaro umbwe route hiking

The Umbwe route is a challenging and direct path up Mount Kilimanjaro, known for its steepness and quick ascent. It's considered the most difficult route and lacks proper acclimatization stages. While it has low traffic, success rates are also low. A minimum of six days is recommended, with seven days preferable for this route. It's suitable for strong hikers confident in their acclimatization abilities. However, we generally discourage using the Umbwe route for our clients.
