N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. Is this itinerary suitable for young children?
Yes, but parents should consider each child’s ability to manage road travel and wildlife-drive hours. The private vehicle allows additional comfort stops and shorter activities. Very young children may require more lodge relaxation than the standard programme shows.
2. Is the vehicle private?
Yes. A private vehicle provides better flexibility for children, parents and grandparents. It allows the guide to adjust seating, stops and activity duration without inconveniencing unrelated guests.
3. Can child seats be provided?
Child and booster seats may be requested before travel, subject to availability. Parents should provide the child’s age, approximate weight and height. Availability should be confirmed in writing.
4. Are family rooms available?
Many luxury lodges offer family tents, suites or connecting rooms. Configurations vary and may sell out early. The number and ages of all children should be supplied when requesting accommodation.
5. Can children’s meals be prepared?
Yes. Most lodges can arrange simpler meals or accommodate common preferences when informed in advance. Allergies should be explained clearly. Parents should also carry suitable snacks for long transfers.
6. Is the chimpanzee-related activity suitable for children?
It can be educational, but access rules and operating arrangements should be confirmed. Children must follow instructions and avoid loud or disruptive behaviour. The visit is included only when clearly stated in the package.
7. Is the Lake Naivasha boat safe for children?
Children must wear approved life jackets and follow the boat crew’s instructions. Participation may depend on age, weather and local safety rules. Parents remain responsible for supervision.
8. Can grandparents participate?
Yes. Mobility, dietary and room-location needs should be discussed before booking. The private programme can include additional stops and rest. Some activities may remain optional for older family members.
9. Can the full-day game drive be shortened?
Yes. The family may return earlier when necessary, although this may reduce the area covered. Comfort and safety should remain more important than completing every planned hour.
10. What should parents pack?
Bring sun protection, warm layers, medication, reusable water bottles, snacks and quiet road entertainment. Comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for dust and changing temperatures are also recommended.
