The Booking Form
Welcome the year on a 7-Day Luxury New Year Safari through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli with premium private guiding.
N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. Is the safari available over December 31 and January 1?
Yes, subject to lodge, vehicle and guide availability. New Year is a popular travel period, and luxury properties may sell out early. The itinerary should identify exactly where guests will stay on December 31. Early booking provides more accommodation and celebration choices.
2. Do lodges provide a New Year countdown or gala dinner?
Some lodges provide gala dinners, music or countdowns, while others offer quieter seasonal meals. Programmes vary by property and year. Guests seeking a particular style should request details before booking. Festive supplements may apply even when entertainment is limited.
3. Are New Year safari rates higher?
Many accommodations apply peak-season or festive supplements. Flights, family rooms and private vehicles may also be in high demand. The final price depends on exact dates, accommodation, group size and activities. A written quotation should show all compulsory supplements before payment.
4. Is the package suitable for couples?
Yes. The private vehicle, luxury accommodation and scenic destinations make the route suitable for couples. Cakes, decorations, private meals and sundowners may be requested. These services should be treated as confirmed only when listed in writing.
5. Can families with children join?
Yes. Family rooms and child-friendly meals can be requested. Parents should consider road distances and full-day game drives when travelling with young children. The private vehicle allows extra stops and shorter activities. Lodge celebration programmes may have specific child policies.
6. Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks may be restricted or prohibited because they disturb wildlife, guests and communities. Some lodges use music, lighting or indoor celebrations instead. Guests should never carry or use fireworks without explicit permission.
7. Is January good for wildlife viewing?
Resident wildlife is present throughout the year. Rainfall, vegetation and water availability affect animal distribution and road conditions. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. The guide will adjust routes according to current conditions.
8. Is Mount Kilimanjaro visible during New Year?
It may be visible, but weather and cloud cover can hide it completely. Early mornings sometimes offer better opportunities. The mountain should be marketed as a possible view rather than a guaranteed attraction.
9. Can the safari be combined with a beach holiday?
Yes. Diani, Mombasa, Watamu or Zanzibar may be added before or after the safari. Peak-season beach hotels and flights should be booked early. The best connection depends on the final safari dates and international departure plan.
What happens if holiday traffic delays the Nairobi return?
Holiday traffic may increase travel time. Guests should not schedule an international flight too close to the expected Nairobi arrival. The guide will plan an early departure and suitable route, but delays cannot be eliminated completely. Travel insurance is recommended.
