The most challenging and rewarding day has arrived. At midnight or in the early hours of the morning, we start the ascent towards the summit. The route takes us between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers, heading northwest towards Stella Point on the crater rim. This section demands mental and physical strength, but the sunrise from Stella Point is a magical sight (weather permitting). From there, it's a snowy ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, standing tall at 19,345 feet. After celebrating our achievement, we begin the descent, passing through Barafu Camp for a quick lunch. The trail takes us down to Mweka Hut, situated at 10,000 feet. This is our last night on the mountain.

The trail may be wet and muddy at lower elevations, but it's a memorable walk through the lush rainforest. From the gate, we continue for about an hour until we reach Mweka Village. A vehicle will be waiting to take us back to our hotel in Moshi. It's time to celebrate our incredible journey and achievements. Please note that the actual trek duration and specific details may vary based on the group's pace, weather conditions, and other factors. It's important to have a well-trained and experienced guide leading the expedition to ensure safety and a successful summit.
