Day 1: Arusha to the Green March Plains
Your guide will collect you from Arusha after breakfast and begin the journey through Mto wa Mbu and Karatu. You will continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Ndutu, with comfort and lunch stops arranged along the route. Your guide will explain how March rainfall influences grazing, road conditions and migration movement. After reaching Ndutu, you will begin a half-day game drive across the green plains. By March, many calves are active and able to travel farther with the herds. You may observe wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants and predators beneath dramatic seasonal skies before arriving at your premium lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Full-Day March Migration Tracking
After breakfast, you will leave for a complete game-drive day. March herds may be widely distributed, so the guide will use recent wildlife information, rainfall patterns and fresh tracks to choose the route. You may explore Lake Ndutu, Lake Masek, open plains and transitional areas toward Southern Serengeti. A premium picnic lunch allows you to remain close to wildlife. Moving lines of wildebeest, active calves, zebras and predators may create rewarding observations, while woodland habitats can add elephants, giraffes and birds. The afternoon continues beneath changing green-season skies before returning to your accommodation.

Day 3: Predators and Moving Herds
Your second full Ndutu day focuses on predator territories and travelling herds. The guide may begin early to search for cheetahs, lions and hyenas during cooler conditions, using tracks, scavenging birds and prey movement as clues. March wildlife may shift quickly after rainfall, so the route remains flexible. You may observe calves running with adults, zebras travelling between grazing areas or predators monitoring moving lines of animals. A picnic lunch will be served in the field. During the afternoon, your guide may explore quieter routes or revisit an active predator territory before returning to camp.

Day 4: Lake and Woodland Wildlife Exploration
Your third full day introduces lake and woodland environments. Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek may attract waterbirds and wildlife using surrounding vegetation, while woodland areas may provide elephants, giraffes and browsing antelopes. These habitats create valuable contrast with the open plains and offer different photography backgrounds. A premium picnic lunch keeps you close to wildlife throughout the day. During the afternoon, your guide may return to the plains if migration or predator activity becomes stronger. You will return to your premium accommodation for dinner and your final complete night in Ndutu.

Day 5: Ndutu Morning Safari and Transfer to Central Serengeti
Your morning begins with another focused Ndutu game drive. The guide may search for herds that moved after overnight rainfall, revisit a predator territory or explore an area not covered earlier. After lunch arrangements, you will begin travelling toward Central Serengeti. The landscape changes from green seasonal plains to permanent savannahs, river valleys and rocky kopjes. Wildlife may be observed throughout the transfer, including elephants, giraffes, lions and resident herbivores. The drive operates as an extended safari experience. You will arrive at a premium Central Serengeti lodge or luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Central Serengeti Safari and Journey to Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, you will begin a focused half-day safari across the Seronera region. River systems, open plains and kopjes support resident lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and diverse birds. Your guide will choose the route according to current sightings and your interests. After the morning safari and lunch, you will leave Central Serengeti and travel toward Ngorongoro. The changing scenery and possible wildlife sightings make the transfer part of the safari experience. You will arrive at a premium lodge near the crater rim or in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Full-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Arusha
Your final day begins early as you descend into Ngorongoro Crater. The crater floor contains grasslands, wetland areas, Lerai Forest and Lake Magadi, supporting lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, hippos and hyenas. Your guide will explore several habitats while explaining the crater’s ecology and resident wildlife. A picnic lunch will be served at an authorised site. After completing the full game drive, you will ascend and travel through Karatu and Mto wa Mbu toward Arusha. Arrival is expected during the evening.
