Enjoy a 7-day senior-friendly premium Ndutu, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari with relaxed private game drives and quality lodging.
Experience three outstanding Northern Tanzania wildlife areas with carefully planned comfort on this 7-Day Senior-Friendly Premium Ndutu, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari. Beginning in Arusha, the private journey travels through Mto wa Mbu, Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching Ndutu. Planned comfort stops, spacious vehicle seating and personalised guiding help make the journey manageable. Three complete Ndutu game-drive days can be divided into shorter sessions when accommodation location permits, providing time for wildebeest calves, predators, elephants, giraffes and birds. Day 5 combines a final Ndutu drive with the journey to Central Serengeti, while Day 6 includes a focused Serengeti safari before continuing to Ngorongoro. A full crater game drive completes the route before returning to Arusha.
Your guide will collect you from your Arusha hotel after breakfast and assist with luggage and vehicle seating. The journey travels through Mto wa Mbu toward Karatu, where a comfort and refreshment stop may be arranged before entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch, you will continue toward Ndutu and begin a gentle half-day game drive in accessible wildlife areas. You may observe wildebeest mothers and calves, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and predators. The drive can be shortened according to comfort and energy levels. You will later check in at a carefully selected premium lodge or luxury tented camp for dinner and rest.
After breakfast, your guide will discuss current wildlife locations and recommend a comfortable route. You may carry a picnic lunch for a full-day safari or return to the lodge when practical. Smoother tracks and suitable facilities will be prioritised where possible. The plains may provide calves, zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants and birds. Your private vehicle allows additional comfort stops. When accommodation location permits, the day may be divided into morning and afternoon sessions. You will return to the lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight.
Your second full Ndutu day allows the guide to revisit productive areas without rushing. You may begin after a relaxed breakfast or leave early for cooler wildlife conditions. The route can focus on active herds, predators or woodland wildlife according to your interests and energy. A lodge lunch and midday rest may be arranged when practical, while a picnic lunch allows you to remain close to wildlife when animals are farther away. The afternoon drive can be shortened or extended depending on comfort. You will return to the premium accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Your third full Ndutu day may explore Lake Ndutu, Lake Masek and surrounding woodland. These habitats can provide birds, elephants, giraffes and different scenery from the open migration plains. Your guide will continue using comfortable routes wherever possible while avoiding unnecessarily rough sections. You may return to the lodge for lunch or remain in the field with a picnic depending on wildlife location. During the afternoon, the guide may revisit a rewarding herd or predator area. You will return for dinner and your final complete evening in Ndutu.
Your day begins with another private Ndutu game drive at a comfortable pace. The guide may revisit a favourite wildlife location or search for species not encountered earlier. After lunch arrangements, you will travel toward Central Serengeti. The landscape changes gradually from short-grass plains to broader savannahs, river valleys and kopjes. Wildlife sightings during the transfer help divide the journey naturally. Comfort stops will be included when practical. You will arrive at a premium Central Serengeti lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a focused half-day game drive across the Seronera region. Resident lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and giraffes may be found around river habitats, kopjes and open plains. The guide will avoid unnecessary rushing and select routes according to road conditions and your comfort. After lunch, you will travel toward Ngorongoro, with scenic and wildlife stops included where practical. You will arrive at a premium lodge near the crater rim or in the Karatu highlands for dinner and rest.
Your final day begins early as you descend into Ngorongoro Crater. The crater floor supports lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, hippos, hyenas and birds across grassland, wetland and forest habitats. The private vehicle allows comfort stops at authorised locations and a pace suited to your needs. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater. After completing the full game drive, you will ascend and travel through Karatu and Mto wa Mbu toward Arusha. Additional comfort stops will be arranged during the return journey, with hotel drop-off expected during the evening.

N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. What makes this safari senior-friendly?
The package uses a private vehicle, flexible daily planning and scheduled comfort stops. Accommodation can be selected for easier room access. The guide can adjust game-drive hours according to guest comfort.
2. Is much walking required?
Very little walking is required during normal safari activities. Guests remain inside the vehicle except at lodges, gates and picnic areas. Some camps have uneven paths. Property layouts should be reviewed before confirmation.
3. Can travellers with limited mobility join?
Many travellers with limited mobility can participate, but vehicle entry, room access and bathroom design vary. Detailed information about mobility needs is necessary. Fully accessible remote camps are limited.
4. Can Ndutu game drives be divided?
Yes, when the lodge is sufficiently close to wildlife areas. Morning and afternoon drives with a midday break can improve comfort. Returning to the lodge is less practical when the herds are farther away.
5. How rough are the roads?
The route includes paved roads, gravel sections and natural safari tracks. Conditions change with rainfall and traffic. The guide will drive carefully and avoid unnecessarily rough routes.
6. Are accessible rooms guaranteed?
No. Ground-level rooms or units near common areas can be requested, but complete accessibility varies. Bathrooms may contain steps or raised shower areas. Written confirmation is important.
7. Are Days 5 and 6 demanding?
They combine game drives with destination transfers. The private vehicle allows comfort stops, but the route remains active. Travellers wanting a slower pace may add another Central Serengeti night.
8. Can special meals be arranged?
Premium properties can usually prepare vegetarian, low-salt and other meals with advance notice. Serious allergies must be explained clearly. Remote properties may not stock every specialised ingredient.
9. What medication should travellers carry?
Bring prescribed medication in original packaging and keep it accessible. Carry enough for the entire trip plus a reserve. Copies of prescriptions and emergency contacts are helpful.
10. Can the itinerary be extended?
Yes. Additional Central Serengeti or Ngorongoro nights may be added. A longer route reduces transfer pressure and creates more relaxation time. Zanzibar can also be added after the safari.
