Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park Manyara/Karatu
The trip begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. The journey covers 120 kilometers and takes 2.5 hours. Tarangire is famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds. In February, the park is beautiful and full of resident wildlife. A positive and unexpected moment is seeing a leopard resting in a baobab tree during your afternoon game drive. You will stay overnight in Manyara or Karatu.

Day 2: Manyara/Karatu to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area)
After breakfast, you head toward the Ndutu region in the southern Serengeti. This is the main focus of your 7-day In February safari. The drive takes about 6 hours and passes through the Ngorongoro Highlands. As you enter the southern plains, you will see thousands of wildebeest gathered for calving. An unexpected highlight is seeing a newborn calf take its first steps within minutes of birth. You will overnight in the Ndutu area.

Day 3: Ndutu Plains Full Day Tour

You will spend the night at a camp or lodge in the central Serengeti.

Day 5: Central Serengeti Full Day Tour
You will spend the day exploring the Seronera Valley, which is known for its high density of leopards and lions. As you ascend, the forest becomes lush and the air cools down. A positive and unexpected moment is the first view of the crater floor from the lookout point at sunset. You will stay at a lodge on the rim or in Karatu.
