Your journey starts in Arusha with a 2.5 hour drive to Tarangire National Park, covering about 120 kilometers. In March, the park is beautifully green and full of life. Day 6: Serengeti (Morning Game Drive) to Ngorongoro
You start with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch the hunters while they are active. After breakfast, you drive for 3 hours toward the Ngorongoro Crater rim. As you ascend, the forest becomes thick and the temperature drops. A positive and unexpected moment is the first view of the crater floor from the lookout point, often covered in soft mist during March. You will stay at a lodge on the rim or in Karatu.
