After a final morning game drive to catch the early hunters, we begin our ascent out of the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The air becomes crisp and the vegetation turns lush as we reach the crater rim. You will have the afternoon to soak in the views from the highland viewpoints before settling into a lodge that offers the perfect vantage point for a cool, misty evening.

As the sun rises, we descend 600 meters into the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a breathtaking wildlife finale. This self-contained paradise is one of the few places on earth where you can see the endangered black rhino alongside lions and golden jackals in a single morning. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, we climb back out and return to Arusha for a celebratory final dinner.
