Travelers will experience diverse landscapes, rich wildlife, and cultural highlights while staying in midrange lodges that offer comfort and scenic surroundings.
Your grand adventure starts with a morning flight from the warm, tropical air of Zanzibar to the highlands of Arusha. Upon landing, our team will pick you up and take you to your midrange hotel, which is surrounded by green gardens and views of Mount Meru. This day is all about settling in and finding your "safari legs." You will have a private meeting with your guide to talk about the animals you hope to see and check all your equipment. After a fresh dinner at the hotel, you will sleep in a comfortable bed, ready for the early start tomorrow.

We leave Arusha early in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, a place that looks like a scene from a prehistoric movie. The park is famous for its giant, fat Baobab trees that can live for thousands of years. As we drive along the Tarangire River, you will see hundreds of elephants walking together to find water. It is a busy place where you can also spot lions hiding in the tall grass and pythons climbing the trees. After a full day of watching these beautiful animals, you will drive to a lodge nearby to enjoy a warm meal and the quiet sounds of the bush.

Today, we start our journey toward the world-famous Serengeti, driving up the steep walls of the Great Rift Valley. You will pass through colorful villages and see local farmers working on their coffee and banana plantations. As we reach the gates of the Serengeti, the trees disappear and the land opens up into endless grass plains. This is the moment you have been waiting for—your first game drive in the Serengeti. You will see zebras and wildebeests everywhere as we drive toward the center of the park to find our camp for the night.
Destination: Northern Serengeti
Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
semi luxury 4 star lodge
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
This is your first full day to live like a local in the Serengeti. We wake up early to catch the beautiful African sunrise, which is the best time for taking photos. We will spend the entire day following the movement of the big herds and looking for the predators that follow them. Because we have the whole day, we don't have to rush; we can sit quietly and watch a family of cheetahs playing or a pride of lions sleeping under a tree. We will eat our picnic lunch in a safe spot in the wild before continuing our search for more animals until the sun goes down.
Destination: Northern Serengeti
Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
semi luxury 4 star lodge
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today we focus on the Seronera area, which is like a natural highway for wildlife because it has water all year round. This area is the best place to find the shy leopard, which usually hides in the branches of the yellow fever trees. Your guide will use their expert eyes to find these spotted cats and other animals like hyenas and jackals. You will learn about the different types of grass and how the animals work together to survive. After a day full of excitement, you will return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the starlit sky.
Destination: Northern Serengeti

For your third day in the Serengeti, we venture into the smaller valleys and hidden waterholes that many tourists never see. This gives you a very private and quiet experience with nature. You can watch hippos fighting for space in the pools and see many different types of birds with bright colors. It is a day to appreciate the small things, like the dung beetles and the beautiful wildflowers, while still keeping an eye out for the big cats. This long stay in the Serengeti ensures that you truly understand why this park is so special.
Destination: Souther Serengeti
Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
semi luxury 4 star lodge
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We start our final morning in the Serengeti with a "dawn patrol" drive, looking for the last bit of action before the sun gets too hot. After a late breakfast, we begin our drive out of the plains and up toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The air becomes much cooler and the trees get thicker as we reach the high-altitude forests. You will stay at a lodge that sits on the edge of the crater rim, where you can watch the clouds move over the massive caldera. It is a perfect place to wear a sweater and enjoy a hot drink by the fire.
Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp
semi luxury 4 star lodge
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today we go down a very steep road into the Ngorongoro Crater, which is often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." It is a giant bowl full of over 25,000 animals, and because the walls are so high, many animals never leave. This is your best chance to find the Black Rhino, which is very rare and hard to find anywhere else. You will spend the whole day on the crater floor, seeing lions, buffaloes, and pink flamingos in the soda lake. After this amazing experience, we drive back to Arusha for your final night in the city.

Your journey comes to a close today. After a relaxed breakfast, you can spend some time walking around Arusha or buying some Tanzanian tea and coffee to take home. We will then drive you to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. As the plane takes off, you will see the mountains and the plains from above, remembering all the incredible animals you met and the beautiful landscapes you explored. This is the end of your Tanzanian safari, but the memories will stay with you forever.
