Once there, you'll complete the necessary registration processes before starting your hike. Today's hike takes you steadily through the beautiful forests of the Lemosho Glades until you reach Big Tree Camp, where you'll spend the night. Enjoy hot water for washing up, followed by cups of tea or coffee and popcorn as you wait for your first dinner on Kilimanjaro.

Upon arrival, enjoy a warm lunch, followed by an acclimatization hike toward Barafu Camp and back to Karanga Camp.

    After breakfast, begin your journey to Barafu Summit Camp, the starting point for your night summit to Uhuru Peak. The hike takes you across desolate scree slopes without vegetation, and it becomes progressively steeper. Once at Barafu Camp, rest and prepare for the final challenge. Complete an acclimatization hike toward Kosovo Summit Camp (4,800m) before returning to Barafu Camp for a hot dinner. Spend the rest of the day resting and sleeping before the night summit.

    Begin the summit attempt around midnight, ascending steeply towards the summit glaciers. The climb involves walking on scree for 4 to 5 hours, gaining incredible altitude in a short distance. Reach Stella Point (5,739m) on the crater rim, where you can enjoy the sunrise and breathtaking views. Continue for approximately an hour to reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Afterward, descend to Stella Point, then further down to Barafu Camp for breakfast. From there, continue the descent to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
