Experience an 8-day Kenya wildlife safari with premium accommodations in Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli.
This 8-day Kenya wildlife safari with premium accommodations presents a complete private road journey through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. Three nights around Maasai Mara create valuable time for exploring savannah and riverine habitats, while Lake Nakuru introduces rhino conservation and diverse Rift Valley scenery. Lake Naivasha provides a relaxing freshwater interlude before the safari continues to Amboseli’s wetlands and celebrated elephant country. Our professional guide manages transfers and game drives, while selected premium lodges or tented camps provide comfortable rooms, quality meals and attentive service. The route offers opportunities to search for the Big Five and many other species, but no animal, migration event or clear Kilimanjaro view is guaranteed.
Premium Safari Departure
Our guide will collect you from JKIA or a confirmed Nairobi hotel between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Drive 255–300 km through the Great Rift Valley and Narok. The journey takes 5½–7 hours excluding lunch, traffic and comfort stops, with the final distance determined by the selected gate and accommodation.
Afternoon Mara Safari
Arrive for lunch and check into your premium lodge or tented camp. Begin the afternoon game drive around 3:30 p.m., exploring open grasslands and scattered woodland. Possible sightings include elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and predators. Return around sunset for dinner and your first night in Maasai Mara.
Wildlife across the Plains
After breakfast around 6:00 a.m., depart between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Explore savannah, seasonal streams and riverine habitats while searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hyenas and antelopes. Every sighting remains dependent on natural movement.
Mara Afternoon Adventure
A picnic lunch is served at an authorized site between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Continue the safari with time for photography and animal observation. Migration herds may be present during relevant seasons, but rainfall and grazing conditions control their location. Return between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. for dinner and relaxation.
Second Full-Day Exploration
Depart around 6:30 a.m. after breakfast or with a packed meal. A second full day allows our guide to explore another sector according to wildlife reports and road conditions. Search the grasslands and riverine zones for predators, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, herbivore herds and birds.
Unhurried Wildlife Viewing
Enjoy lunch around 1:00 p.m. at an approved picnic location. Continue through the afternoon while observing natural interactions without crowding animals. Our guide will follow park speed limits and viewing regulations. Return before 6:00 p.m. for dinner and a final premium overnight in Maasai Mara.
Mara Morning Farewell
A final short game drive may begin around 6:30 a.m. when the transfer schedule and entry arrangements permit. Return for breakfast and check out between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Our guide will confirm the route and lunch arrangements before departure.
Premium Nakuru Arrival
Travel 230–270 km through Narok and Mau Narok, requiring 5–6½ hours excluding lunch and road conditions. Arrive in the Lake Nakuru area during the late afternoon and settle into your premium accommodation. Enjoy dinner and prepare for an early game drive through the national park.
Lake Nakuru Safari
Enter the park around 6:30 a.m. and explore its woodland, grassland, rocky areas and changing lakeshore. Search for white and black rhinos, buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, baboons, antelopes and waterbirds. Flamingo numbers vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
Lake Naivasha Retreat
After breakfast or brunch, travel 75–100 km to Lake Naivasha, requiring 1½–2½ hours. Check into your premium lakeside accommodation and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. An optional 60–90-minute boat excursion may provide views of hippos and birds when conditions are safe. Avoid unprotected shorelines after dark.
Optional Boat Safari
Breakfast begins around 6:30 a.m. Join an approved Lake Naivasha boat excursion if it has been confirmed. Life jackets are compulsory, and the captain may cancel the activity because of unsafe wind or water conditions.
Journey to Amboseli
Check out and travel 310–360 km through Mai Mahiu, Nairobi’s outskirts and Emali. Driving takes 6–8 hours excluding lunch, traffic and comfort stops. Arrive during the late afternoon and settle into your premium lodge or camp. A short game drive operates only when daylight and entry arrangements permit.
Morning beneath Kilimanjaro
Depart between 6:15 and 6:30 a.m. after an early breakfast arrangement. Clear conditions may reveal Mount Kilimanjaro, although visibility is unpredictable. Explore open plains, woodland and spring-fed wetlands while searching for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, predators and birds.
Amboseli Wildlife Afternoon
Lunch is served between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. at the lodge or an authorized picnic location. Continue through different habitats while observing elephant families and other wildlife responsibly. Sightings are not guaranteed, and vehicles must remain on permitted routes. Return between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. for your final premium safari dinner.
Last Amboseli Experience
A short game drive may begin around 6:30 a.m. when the Nairobi schedule allows. Enjoy a final opportunity to observe Amboseli’s plains, wetlands and wildlife. Return for breakfast and check out between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.
Nairobi Drop-Off
Travel 200–240 km through Emali, requiring 4–5½ hours excluding lunch and traffic. Drop-off is available at JKIA, Wilson Airport or a confirmed Nairobi hotel. Guests taking international flights should select a late-evening departure or reserve an additional Nairobi night.
