After a morning briefing and meeting the guide and support crew, we embark on a 3-4 hour drive to Londorossi Gate (2,200m). After completing the necessary formalities, we begin our trek through the rainforest towards Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780m). The trekk covers a distance of 6 km and takes approximately 3-4 hours. Raincoats are essential for this day's trekk. Upon arrival at the camp, our professional team will prepare lunch, and you can enjoy a rest or take a short acclimatization trek to Shira 1 Camp. It is important to follow the guidelines for acclimatization and stay hydrated.

We start the day with an early breakfast and a gradual ascent to Shira 1 Camp (3,505m). The trek covers a distance of 5 km and takes around 5-6 hours. Along the way, we are rewarded with stunning views of the Shira Plateau and Kibo Volcano. Upon reaching the camp, lunch will be served, and you can relax in your tent or explore the surrounding area. This gradual climb helps with acclimatization and ensures a successful trek.

Leaving Shira 1 Camp, we embark on a light trek towards Shira 2 Camp (3,900m). The trekk covers a distance of 7 km and takes approximately 3-4 hours. This section offers spectacular views of Mount Meru (Africa's fifth summit) if the weather permits. After reaching the camp, lunch is served, and you have the option to complete an acclimatization trekk towards Lava Tower, gaining an additional 300 meters in altitude. Then we return to Shira 2 Camp for rest and dinner.

After breakfast, we continue our trek, heading towards Lava Tower (4,630m), a key point on the route. The day involves various ascents and descents, with a lunch stop at Lava Tower for acclimatization. From there, we descend to Barranco Camp (3,960m). The trekk covers a distance of 12 km and takes 6-8 hours. Barranco Camp offers impressive views of the Barranco Wall, which we will conquer the next day.

We begin the day with an early start and a challenging ascent of the Barranco Wall. The trail is relatively straightforward, and our experienced guides will ensure your safety. After conquering the wall, we continue trekking through a route with ascents and descents, finally reaching Karanga Camp (4,035m). The trek covers a distance of 5 km and takes approximately 4-5 hours. At Karanga Camp, we have lunch and complete an acclimatization trek towards Barafu Camp before returning to Karanga Camp for the night.

Once at Barafu Camp, we rest, have dinner, and prepare for the summit day ahead. The camp provides breathtaking views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, offering a sense of the grandeur of the surroundings.

In the early morning, we embark on the challenging summit attempt. We ascend to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa, starting between midnight and 2 am. The climb is mentally and physically demanding, but reaching the summit is an incredible achievement. After enjoying the sunrise and taking in the breathtaking views, we begin our descent. We return to Barafu Camp for lunch and continue to Millennium Camp (3,820m) for overnight rest and celebration.

Finally, we transfer back to the hotel in Moshi, where you can relax and reflect on your remarkable Kilimanjaro journey.
