Day 1: Starting Trekking Kilimanjaro from Lemosho Gate to Big Tree ( Mti Mkubwa) Camp

After a relaxing breakfast, we depart for Kilimanjaro western side and reach Lemosho gate. Once the registration is complete, our trek begins through the picturesque Lemosho glades, surrounded by lush forests. We hike at a steady pace, soaking in the natural beauty, until we reach Big Tree Camp, where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Kilimanjaro Trekking from Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Today's trek takes us through grassy moorlands and heather plateaus, offering panoramic views of Kibo Peak. The path is occasionally steep, challenging us to push ourselves. After a rewarding day's hike, we reach Shira 1 Camp, where we will rest and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp Trekking up Summit Mt Kilimanjaro

We continue our ascent over the Shira Plateau, relishing in the breathtaking views of the Northern Ice Fields and Kibo. The moorland landscape and panoramic vistas make for a memorable day. Our destination is Shira 2 Camp, where we will have an acclimatization hike before settling in for the night.

Day 4: Continue Trekking Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

Starting on a steep trek, we traverse lava ridges and reach the Lava Tower, where we enjoy a well-deserved lunch. The descent leads us to the Great Barranco Valley, surrounded by towering cliffs and offering expansive views. We set up camp in this beautiful location for the night.

Day 5: Leave Barranco Camp Kilimanjaro Trekking to Karanga Camp

Our day begins with an exciting ascent of the Barranco Wall, providing a thrilling rock-climbing experience. We then continue through the Karanga Valley, passing glaciers along the way. After a challenging trek, we arrive at Karanga Camp, where we rest and recharge.

Day 6: Trekking Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Today, we tackle a steep uphill trek to Barafu Camp, situated at an elevation of 4,640 meters. The barren scree hills and high altitude make this ascent challenging but rewarding. We take time to rest and prepare for the final summit push, ensuring we stay hydrated and warm.

Day 7: Barafu Camp trek to Uhuru Peak and Millennium Camp

In the early hours, we embark on a demanding ascent to the summit glaciers. Climbing through scree, we reach Stella Point, where we witness the first rays of sunlight illuminating the crater rim. Continuing our journey, we finally reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro. After celebrating our achievement, we descend to Millennium Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 8: Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate

We bid farewell to the mountain and trek through the enchanting jungle towards Mweka Gate. Completing the necessary park procedures, we receive certificates of accomplishment. Vehicles await us, taking us back to the hotel in Moshi. Enjoy a refreshing shower and reflect on the incredible journey.
