    Around 1 am, embark on the steep climb up the frozen scree. This segment is an inevitable part of any route and leads you to Gillman's Point on the crater rim. From there, continue for approximately 40 minutes to reach Stella Point, offering breathtaking views of the sunrise, weather permitting. Another hour of ascent brings you to the highest point on the continent, Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Celebrate your incredible achievement before commencing the descent on the Mweka route. The descent involves approximately 1,300 meters of elevation loss and takes about 6 to 7 hours. Arrive at Mweka Camp (3,100m) above Mweka Gate, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
