    Continuing across the Shira Plateau, we join hikers from the Machame Route and enjoy panoramic views. The 14km hike lasts 5-7 hours, taking us to Moir Hut Camp. This day involves higher altitudes, so monitoring altitude sickness symptoms is important.

    Day 4: Moir Hut Camp (4,200m) to Lava Tower (4,600m) to Barranco Camp (3,900m).

    Traversing a desert-like landscape, we reach Lava Tower at 4,600m for lunch. Joining the Southern Circuit trail, we descend to Barranco Camp, where we spend the night. Hiking high and sleeping low aids acclimatization.

    Starting at midnight, we undertake a challenging ascent up the steep slopes of Kibo, reaching Stella Point at 5,739m. Pushing forward for another 1-2 hours, we reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Afterward, we descend to Mweka Camp, hiking for 12-16 hours in total.
