After a drive from Moshi to the gate, we start our climb through the lush Rain Forest. The 6 km climb takes about 3-4 hours, and we settle in at Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight.

We face a challenging day as we ascend to Lava Tower at 15,190 ft and then descend to Barranco Camp. The total distance is approximately 14 km, taking 7 hours to complete.

We start our summit push in the early morning, hiking in darkness towards Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Kilimanjaro. After reaching the summit, we descend to Mweka Camp via Barafu Camp. The total distance is 4.5 km uphill and 10.7 km downhill. The climb to the summit takes 7-8 hours, while the descent to Mweka Camp lasts 6-8 hours.
