Arrive at Moshi Safari Lodge, located on the slopes of Mount Meru. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and prepare for you're adventure. Attend a pre-climb briefing and equipment check in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Moshi Safari Lodge.

Day 1: First climb from Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour drive to Londorossi Gate. Complete Park registration formalities and begin your ascent through the forest trail. Reach Lemosho Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Steadily climb from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Leave the forest behind and steadily climb to the rim of the Shira Plateau. Enjoy wide views along the way and settle at Shira Camp for the night.

Day 3: Easy climb from Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Follow an easy path to the summit of Shira Cathedral before reaching Shira Hut. The camp is exposed and temperatures drop significantly, so be prepared for cold conditions.

Day 4: Climb from Shira 2 Camp then descend to Barranco Valley

Embark on a gentle ascent with panoramic views, passing underneath the Lava Tower. Descend to the bottom of the Great Barranco valley and camp for the night.

Day 5: Steep climb from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Climb up the eastern wall, taking in views of the Heim Glacier. Traverse the Great Barranco Wall and descend into the Karanga Valley. Finally, make a steep climb to Karanga Camp.

Day 6: Slowly climb from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Take the Traverse Route up the Barafu Ridge, slowly making your way to the final camp before the summit. Rest and prepare for the last ascent.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp

Begin the climb before midnight, ascending over loose volcanic scree. Reach Stella Point at the crater rim to enjoy the sunrise. Continue to the main peak, Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Descend to Barafu Camp for refreshment and further descent to Mweka Camp.
