Arrival Day: Arrival Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your driver will meet you and provide a transfer to your hotel in Arusha. The drive takes about one hour. This is a day to rest and prepare for your 8-day migration trip in November. You can enjoy the views of Mount Meru and prepare your camera gear for the journey ahead. Your guide will meet you in the evening for a briefing.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park then Manyara or Karatu
After breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park, where the large elephant herds are the main attraction. In November, the park begins to turn green, and the birdlife is spectacular. You will travel 150 kilometers over 3 hours. A positive moment is seeing a family of elephants bathing in the fresh water of the Tarangire River. In the evening, you drive to Manyara or Karatu for dinner.

Day 2: Manyara or Karatu to Serengeti (Half-Day Game Drive)
The journey continues toward the Serengeti National Park. You will enter the park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and begin your first game drive. The distance is 200 kilometers and takes 5 hours. You will enter the Serengeti and begin your afternoon game drive. You might spot a pride of lions lounging on the granite kopjes. This 8-day migration adventure in November provides great predator sightings.

Day 3: Central to Northern Serengeti (Full Day Tour)
Today you travel north to catch the herds as they move back from the Mara River. The landscape is a beautiful mix of dry grass and fresh green patches. The journey covers 150 kilometers and takes 4 to 5 hours. You will see thousands of wildebeests and zebras filling the plains. A surprising moment is finding a leopard resting in an acacia tree right next to the track.

After a morning drive in the north, you travel back toward the Central Serengeti. This area is home to resident predators who are very active in November. The drive back is 150 kilometers and takes 4 hours. You might experience the thrill of seeing a cheetah on a high speed hunt across the plains. Enjoy one last morning game drive in the Serengeti before driving to the Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive is 140 kilometers and takes 4 hours. As you climb toward the crater rim, the air becomes cool and fresh. You will reach the rim in time to watch the sunset over the massive caldera. You might see a lone bull buffalo walking through the highland forest.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater (Full Day Tour) to Arusha

After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you drive back to Arusha. The trip back is 180 kilometers and takes 4 hours. You may be lucky enough to see a black rhino grazing in the morning mist on the crater floor.
