This is the most challenging and most rewarding day of your 9 Days Northern Circuit Kilimanjaro New Moon Climbing Tour. You will begin hiking around midnight from School Hut, moving slowly through the dark summit trail toward the crater rim and then onward to Uhuru Peak. During the new moon period, the sky can be very dark, so your headlamp, guide support, and careful pacing are very important. Our guide will support you step by step, check your condition, manage the pace, and encourage you through the cold and high altitude. As sunrise appears near the summit, you will enjoy one of the most powerful moments on Kilimanjaro, with glaciers, crater scenery, and the unforgettable achievement of standing at Uhuru Peak. After photos and celebration, you will descend carefully and continue to Mweka Camp for dinner, rest, and overnight.
