midrange photography journey through northern Kenya, Rift Valley lakes and iconic savannahs.

This 9-day Kenya midrange photographic safari has been created for travellers who want enough time to capture rare wildlife, dramatic landscapes, colourful birds and memorable animal behaviour across five different destinations. Your journey begins in Samburu National Reserve, where the Ewaso Nyiro River, dry northern scenery and specialised wildlife such as Grevy’s zebras and reticulated giraffes provide distinctive photographic subjects. You will continue to Lake Nakuru for rhinos and Rift Valley scenery before exploring the predator-rich plains of Masai Mara. Lake Naivasha introduces hippos, fish eagles and peaceful freshwater photography, while Amboseli provides outstanding opportunities to photograph large elephant herds beneath Mount Kilimanjaro when the mountain is visible. Our guide will allow reasonable time at sightings, position the safari vehicle responsibly and help you work with natural light while you stay in carefully selected midrange lodges and tented camps.
