Day 4: Shira 2 Camp trek to Lava Tower to Moir Hut

Begin the day's trek with a gradual ascent towards Lava Tower, an impressive rock formation at 4,630 meters.Afterward, descend to Moir Hut, located in a scenic area near the Lent Hills.Enjoy breathtaking views and spend the night at Moir Hut.

Day 7: Trek from Third Cave to School Hut

We set out on a steady incline today, crossing the Saddle that lies between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Our route continues southwest, leading us to School Hut. Upon arriving, we will have an early dinner and prepare for the summit attempt, which will begin before midnight. It's essential to ensure that all gear, including warm clothing, insulated water bottles, snacks, headlamp, and camera, are ready before resting for the night.

Day 8: School Hut trek Uhuru Peak (Summit Point) to Mweka Camp

Start the summit ascent around midnight, making your way up the steep scree and rocky terrain.Reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, just before or during sunrise.Celebrate your achievement and take in the breathtaking panoramic views.Descend to Mweka Camp, located at an elevation of about 3,100 meters, for the night.

Return to Moshi, where you can rest, celebrate, and reflect on your incredible Kilimanjaro adventure.
