Student Assembly and Briefing
At approximately 5:00 AM, students will meet at the confirmed school, university, hotel or assembly location. Teachers will complete attendance while our guide explains vehicle rules, the route and learning objectives. Luggage will be organised before departure.

Dryland Landscape Introduction
During the journey toward Samburu, the guide will introduce changing vegetation, agriculture, settlement and climate. Breakfast and supervised comfort stops will be arranged. Students may record observations without distracting the driver or leaving the group.

Wildlife Adaptation Study
At around 6:00 AM, students will begin a game drive focused on dryland adaptation. The guide may use Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, oryx and elephants to explain feeding strategies and water dependence. Wildlife sightings will determine the exact discussion.

River Ecology and Conservation
After lunch and a midday break, the afternoon safari will explore areas near the Ewaso Nyiro River. Students can learn how water supports animals, vegetation and human activity in a dry environment. The group will return for dinner and an evening learning review.

Landscape Comparison
After breakfast and supervised check-out, students will travel toward Lake Nakuru. The guide will explain changes in vegetation, elevation, farming and settlement during the road journey. Teachers may supervise field notes and group discussions.

Rift Valley Arrival
The group will arrive during the afternoon and receive room allocations at the premium accommodation. After rest, students may complete a short discussion about the differences between Samburu and the Rift Valley. Dinner follows under teacher supervision.

Rhino and Lakeshore Study
At around 6:00 AM, students will enter Lake Nakuru National Park. The guide will discuss rhino conservation, Rothschild’s giraffes, birdlife and protected-area management. Flamingo abundance varies naturally and should not be treated as guaranteed.

Journey to Savannah Ecosystems
After breakfast and check-out, students will travel toward the Maasai Mara. Lunch and supervised comfort stops will be included. The guide will introduce the wider savannah ecosystem before arrival during the late afternoon.

Predator-Prey Relationships
At around 6:00 AM, students will begin a full-day game drive. Real sightings may be used to discuss predators, herbivores, competition, camouflage and animal group behaviour. Students must remain seated and follow all guide instructions.

Conservation and Tourism Discussion
After a picnic lunch at approximately 12:30 PM, the afternoon drive will focus on habitat use, migration, tourism and conservation. Students may record species and behaviour during the safari. The group will return for dinner and an academic review.

Morning Wildlife Summary
A short morning wildlife observation may be completed when the programme permits. The guide will review key savannah concepts before the group returns for breakfast. Teachers will supervise check-out and luggage organisation.

Freshwater Ecosystem Arrival
Students will travel toward Lake Naivasha and check into the selected accommodation during the afternoon. The guide may introduce freshwater habitats, birdlife and surrounding land use. Dinner follows after a supervised rest period.

Freshwater Bird and Habitat Study
At around 7:00 AM, students may complete a confirmed boat safari, birdwatching session or guided nature walk. The activity may introduce waterbirds, fish eagles, lakeshore habitats and herbivores. Safety equipment and instructions must be followed.

Southern Kenya Journey
After breakfast and check-out, the group will travel toward Amboseli. Lunch, refreshments and attendance checks will be completed during the journey. Arrival is expected during the late afternoon or early evening.

Morning Elephant Study
At around 6:00 AM, students will begin a wildlife drive focused on elephants, family groups, communication and water dependence. The guide will also discuss Amboseli’s wetlands and open plains. Mount Kilimanjaro visibility depends on weather conditions.

Afternoon Habitat Management
After lunch and a midday break, students will return for an afternoon drive. Discussions may include water resources, tourism, livestock, wildlife corridors and conservation. Teachers may supervise observation assignments before returning for dinner.

Final Field Review
At around 6:00 AM, students will complete a final game drive and review the main topics covered during the expedition. The guide will answer questions about ecosystems, wildlife behaviour and conservation. The group returns for breakfast at around 9:00 AM.

Supervised Nairobi Return
After room checks, attendance and luggage loading, the group will depart for Nairobi. A supervised meal and comfort stop will be included along the route. Final drop-off will be at the confirmed school, university or assembly point.
