Upon arrival at the airport, a driver will transfer your group to a hostel or budget hotel in Arusha. The drive takes about one hour. Your guide will meet you for a briefing to discuss safety rules and the exciting 9-day Serengeti Migration students safari ahead. This is the time to check your gear and get ready for the bush.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park Manyara/Karatu
Drive to Tarangire, a journey of 120 kilometers taking 3 hours. You will spend the day searching for the famous elephant herds and learning about the baobab trees. A positive moment is seeing a group of playful elephants splashing in the river. In the afternoon, you will head to a campsite or budget lodge in the Karatu area.

Day 2: Manyara/Karatu – Serengeti (Half-Day Game Drive)
Travel to the Serengeti, covering 240 kilometers in about 6 hours. You will stop at the Olduvai Gorge viewpoint to discuss early human history. Once you enter the Serengeti, you will see the endless plains for the first time. This 9-day students safari brings you close to nature as you head to your central camp for the night.
