    The most challenging part of the journey awaits as we begin our ascent to Uhuru Peak around midnight. Battling the extreme wind and cold, we make our way to Gilman's Point (18,600 ft) to witness a magnificent sunrise over Mawenzi Peak. Finally, we stand atop Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa! Our descent leads us to Mweka Hut campsite, where we rest and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

    On our final day, we descend to Mweka Gate, where we collect our summit certificates. The lower elevations greet us with their lush rainforest, and after an exhilarating journey, we return to Mweka Village. A vehicle will take us back to Moshi, where we can celebrate our unforgettable achievement.
