First day this 4 days zanzibar tour When you arrive, your guide will meet you at the airport or harbor! He will then take you to a hotel in Stone Town to check in. After you've checked in, your guide will take you to lunch before boarding a boat to the prison island! A boat ride to Prison Island is 40 minutes, and there you can immerse yourself in the history of what was once a slave prison. You will be able to meet the giant tortoises and have a great time curdling and watering them. After that, you can relax on the beach! Swimming and sunbathing. In addition, because there is a reef nearby, you can go snorkeling and you will spend the whole evening.
After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to take you to Jozani Forest! You will have fantastic photo opportunities and sightings of rare forest creatures that are normally visible from the paths. Our guides are also naturalists and nature lovers who have a great time in the nature reserve, so expect a lot of information. At Jozani, you will also visit the Mangrove swamp and walk through the Mangrove forest. After lunch, you'll have some free time before returning to Stonetown. You can let anything happen!
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and take you to Matemwe beach for a 15-minute boat ride. As you get closer, you'll notice an island surrounded by more than 10 miles of stunning reefs that form a sheltered lagoon. Our boats usually take a short detour to look for dolphins, and if you're lucky, you might get to swim with them. Following that, you will go snorkeling, where you will see various back marine creatures in just a few feet of water! You will then unwind by the beach while enjoying fruits and water. Later on, you will begin your journey back to Nungwi.
