At the gate, our head guide will handle all the necessary permits and registration for rescue and search services. You will then begin the trek to Mandara Hut at 2,700m. The trail will lead you through the rainforest, where rain showers are common, so it is advisable to bring a raincoat. It's important to take precautions for acclimatization, including avoiding caffeine and alcohol, drinking plenty of fluids, and considering the use of altitude sickness medication like Diamox under medical guidance.

From the hut, you will enjoy magnificent views of Mawenzi, Kibo, and the vast plain of the Masai steppe.

The climb will begin around midnight and will be long and physically demanding. You will pass the Hans Meyer Cave at 5220m and continue steadily upwards. As the sun rises, you will reach Gilman's Point (5681m), located on the crater rim of Kilimanjaro. The warmth of the sun will help alleviate the cold of the night. After another 1 to 2 hours of hiking, you will reach the ultimate goal: Uhuru Peak at 5895m, the highest point of Kilimanjaro. Take in the breathtaking views and celebrate your achievement. Afterward, you will descend to Kibo Hut for a warm meal and a short rest before continuing the descent to Horombo Hut.

After bidding farewell to your mountain guides, a short transfer will take you back to your hotel in Moshi. Take the opportunity to enjoy a warm and relaxing shower, and celebrate your successful summit of Kilimanjaro
