Depart from Kilimanjaro air port (JRO) around 8:00 am and head to Marangu Gate for mountain climbing registration. After completing the registration process, start your climb by walking along a narrow trail through the Montane Rainforest. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the forest as you make your way to Kisambioni Picnic Site, which is the halfway point of the day. Have lunch at the picnic site and then continue walking through the rainforest until you reach Mandara Hut. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or take a short walk to Maundi Crater, where you can enjoy stunning views of Taveta to the east and Mawenzi Peak to the northwest on a clear day. Elevation Gain: 915m/3,000ft. Climbing Time: 5 hours. Distance: 12 km. Habitat: Montane Forest.

Arrive at Horombo Hut in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Elevation Gain: 977m/3,200ft. Climbing Time: 6 hours. Distance: 15 km. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Middle Red Hill. After lunch, continue on a steady incline for another two hours through Kilimanjaro Saddle. Although the environment towards Kibo Hut is a barren desert with sparse vegetation, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon, rest, and prepare for the midnight climb to the summit. Elevation Gain: 1,030m/3,380ft. Climbing Time: 6 hours. Distance: 15 km. Habitat: Alpine Desert.

Start the midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak. The challenging five-hour climb takes you to Gillman's Point on the crater rim, the easiest of three paths but still tough. First rest at William's Point (5,000m, 2 hours from Kibo Hut). Continue for 30 minutes, navigating rocky switchbacks to Gillman's Point at 5,681m. The ascent from Gillman's to Uhuru Peak is gradual but tiring due to high altitude. The journey along the crater rim is about 2 hours. Capture photos at Uhuru Peak, then descend, enjoying the views. Rest at Kibo Hut, then continue to Horombo Hut, reaching it in the afternoon for your final night. Elevation Gain: 1,145m/3,760ft. Elevation Loss: 2,175m/7,140ft. Climbing Time: 8 hours to Uhuru, 6 hours descent to Horombo Hut. Distance: 6km ascent, 21km descent. Habitat: Stone Scree and Ice-Capped Summit.
