Around midnight, you will begin the summit climb from Barafu Camp toward Stella Point and Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. This is the hardest and most rewarding day of the 6 Days Umbwe Route budget climb. The trail is cold, steep, and demanding, but our guide will support you with a slow pace, motivation, and safety checks throughout the climb. As the sun rises near the summit, you will experience unforgettable views of glaciers, clouds, and the crater rim. After reaching Uhuru Peak, you will celebrate your achievement and take photos before descending back to Barafu Camp for a short rest. Later, you will continue down to Mweka Camp for dinner and overnight. This long day shows the true value of the tour: affordable pricing, strong guidance, and a real Kilimanjaro summit experience.
