This was the adventure of a lifetime. The Umbwe Route is challenging, but the landscapes are unbelievable. The guides were motivating and kept us confident throughout the trek. Summit night was extremely cold and tough, but the feeling of reaching Uhuru Peak cannot be described—it has to be experienced.
