Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

On the first day, you will begin your trek at Machame Gate, where you will complete registration and meet your guide and porters. The trail winds through lush rainforests, offering glimpses of exotic flora and fauna. After approximately 6 hours of hiking, you will reach Machame Camp, located at an elevation of 3,000 meters.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

As you reach the summit, you will witness the breathtaking sunrise over the African plains. After celebrating your achievement, you will descend to Mweka Camp at 3,100 meters to rest and recover.
