This is the most challenging and rewarding day of the entire Kilimanjaro climbing tour. You will begin around midnight, hiking slowly from School Hut toward the crater rim and then continuing to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters. Our guide will support you step by step, keeping a safe pace, checking your condition, and encouraging you through the cold and demanding summit climb. As the sun rises, you will have one of the best photography moments on Mount Kilimanjaro, with golden light, glaciers, crater views, and unforgettable summit scenery. After celebrating and taking photos at Uhuru Peak, you will descend carefully back through the high-altitude zone and continue down toward Mweka Camp. This long descent allows your body to recover at lower altitude while ending the day in a more comfortable environment.
